In spite of the persecution David is under (from King Saul ), he is still able to praise God and fully trust in Him. David attributes his ability to sing praises to God in the midst of turmoil, to the confidence David has in God to rescue him. 1 My heart is confident in You, O ;God; my heart is confident.
