Pleasures Are Meaningless
I thought in my heart, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good.” But that also proved to be meaningless. . . . 21because sometimes a person who has toiled with wisdom and knowledge and skill must leave everything to be enjoyed by someone who did not toil for it. This also is vanity and a great evil. Ecclesiastes 2:21 (ESV)
