David's Four Hundred Men
David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. When his brothers and his father’s household heard about it, they went down to him there.
2And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was [C]discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.
