For there will be great distress upon the earth and p1 Thess. 2:16wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the edge of the sword and q[Deut. 28:64]be led captive among all nations, and rRev. 11:2; [Ps. 79:1; Isa. 63:3, 18; Dan. 8:13; Zech. 12:3]Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, s[Dan. 12:7; Rom. 11:25]until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. The Coming of the Son of Man   25“And tIsa. 13:10; 24:23; Ezek. 32:7; Joel 2:10, 31; 3:15; Acts 2:20; [Amos 5:20; 8:9; Zeph. 1:15; Rev. 6:12; 8:12]there will be signs in sun and moon uRev. 6:13; [Isa. 14:12; 34:4]and stars, and on the earth v[Ps. 65:7]distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world.
