Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness,
truly you shall be fed.

1. Guard your heart Trust in the lord and do good, take delight in the lord and he will give you, your hearts desires. 2.set yourself up for success, plans to give you a hope and a future. 3. Keep your head on swivel 4. If you don't listen you will have to feel 5. It's not just about you. Even Jesus took time, from the great things He was doing, and took some quiet time to hang out with Jesus.

Your hearts desire vs The desires of your heart ... Is there a difference? I believe There is. "The desires of my heart" are the deep desires placed within me by my Creator, The Most High God. I sense that in someways my own "hearts desires" are a mere shadow of what God had in mind for me. (Think HD/IMAX theater vs flat screen SD TV!) I believe He wants to give to me the FULL IMAX EXPERIENCE containing THE DESIRES OF MY HEART. As I continue to seek Him and seek His will, to desire Him, to honor Him,to trust and obey Him, I will begin to see that the desires of my heart are God Breathed(inspired!)placed right here within me with great Love and great care. The very desires and dreams and hopes that HE HIMSELF has placed within me before I was yet formed in my mamas womb. Whoa!!!!

Keep your focus on God, and things of God. Be satisfied with what you have, don't envy, or covet Let God be enuf, bc when Gods on your side who do you have to fear.. Gods bigger then all our problems together Gods bigger then the boogieman.. Veggie tales episode Ties to easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle then a rich man to go to Heaven- this could be bc a rich man pursues wealth, focuses on getting more... It's an obsession.. What he's doing is replacing the need for God with the need for money.. Rich pple have to feel in control of their destiny.. They lack the faith needed to stand on Gods promises and trust in Him to meet their needs. This can also be true of the poor man..why do we fight God over control of our lives?? Same as our kids don't want to listen or obey or trust us. They think they know best.. If we don't put our faith and trust in Christ we make other things into idols.. Such as money bc moe y equals power and control.. And we feel that we can control our future if only we have enuf money... Sad truth.. We never have enuf money.. Faith of a mustard seed.. Can move mountains .. Y is our faith small... We r afraid to trust..to put our faith in someone bigger then ourselves..,y Maybe bc we have put our faith in humans and been let down, been hurt, had our trust broken... Parents who abused us, spouses who cheated, friends who lied, pastors who let us down.. It's bc we can't put our faith in man!! We need to put our faith in God and in His hands Think of movie War Room... She put faith in hubby.. He let her down.. Put faith in God and by doing so put her marriage her hubby and his problems in Gods hands The best thing we can do for another is put their life in Gods hands...pray pray pray!!! Pray without ceasing We put our faith in God like the children of Israel did to feed them manna each day... Why worry... Bc we lack the faith needed to trust n believe We want Gods help when we need it but don't want Him when we r disobedient to look upon us... Just like our children get quiet when they r misbehaving... Do we do the same thing with God... We turn silent, our prayers cease, our bible studying ceases, we turn away from God bc we know He wouldn't approve of our behavior... This is interesting bc I see evidence of this in my own life Daily prayer n study help to keep our focus on God, so we r less likely to be tempted or fall into sin. The closer we get to Him the more we want to please Him, much in the same way our children want to please us, gain our approval, because they love us bc first we loved them. We showed them love before they knew what love was, in return they love us back and seek our approval and trust in us to look out for them. God loved us before we knew Him, although we will fail our children God will never fail us.

David defeats amalekites . With 400 men. Against 12000. Difficult times brings out worse or best. God allowed to raid on David's people - test ? Principal: God allows trials tribulations for our growth and come closer to God. Testimony. David's leadership was example of how to consult God in all circumstances. We must understand how to get through difficult times. Our life is to glorify God. Discouragement is from satan - victory is from God. We are most vulnerable when tired or sick. Women and children were spared - gods divine assistance because the amalekites were very vicious and cruel and usually were grostesque and lawless. God always provides! He placed the Egyptian in his place for David's success. Walk by faith, seek God - 1st Samuel's message. We always have to deal with consequences of disobedience. How do we submit? Surrender ! Hate anger and revenge are for God - not us! Key to faith - focus on faith and power of word. Why some men not want to share spoils? Greed! David shared showing kindness. Men realized that God gave the victory.

Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. Psalms 37:24 | AMP 30 But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me [from death]!31 Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt? Debt The inability to to control can become oppressive. Proverbs 22:7 Has become a way of being overwhelmed by the debt occurred by mindset. Psalms 37:21. Trying to keep up with the Jones in life. 2Kings 4:1. Your debt will minimize your reputation. 1Kings 17:12. 1. Dept consumes our thoughts and in return will not allow you focus on your dreams. It will take your energy on to keep up with your debt. It will allow you to miss moments and your dreams. 2. Debt controls your obedience in giving. If you don't get obedience in giving to God which in return you never break the cycle of debt. It also controls your ability to operate as a compassionate lender. Deuteronomy 28:12. Never make loan that requires interest. We need to raise our children to understand the challenge. 3. Debt controls the future of our seed. 2Kings 4:1. We become the debtors which in return becomes our children debt. We need to raise our children as family with a corporate mentality to take control of our lives. We don't make our kids accountable to the dream and making sure they are good with it. Debt is equal to death. It kills the dreams and visions of our people. Time to take authority over our lives.
